Seahawks Whining About Refs Again (Vol. MMMCDLXXIV)

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and head coach Pete Carroll joined the chorus after their thrilling 25-20 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

"The calls -- or the lack thereof -- were pretty egregious," Sherman said, via ESPN.com. "It's just tough with the penalties. It's tough when you play a team that's averaging seven, eight penalties a game, and they get called for one [actually two] -- an obvious false start in the fourth quarter, which the refs really didn't want to call in the first place."

This from a guy who gets away with absolutely mugging opposing WRs every damn game.

Hell, if the cops ever want Sherman's fingerprints, all they have to do is process AB after the mugging he took from him last year.

STFU and go pop a Midol already, mouth.

The refs in London kept the Redskins from upsetting the Bengals. The reffing is getting worse, not better. Their one or two untimely penalties kill drives and scoring opportunities.

And 2 full weeks after they won because the refs didn't call Sherman for an obvious PI call

I watched that game. I knew the Seabag fans were going to whine.

They overcame the refs 4 times this year. The refs cheated twice. In one game the refs cheated but not quite enough.

They don't have a legitimate gripe.

Seahawks whining about the officiating makes me LOL!
I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest. If you can't take it, you shouldn't play!- Jack Lambert

Agreed. If refs called every penalty Sherman would get 5 holdings and 2 pass interference every single game.

Of course Seattle fans wouldn't agree because they have no idea what pass interference even is
