Steelers ask NFL to review Ndamukong Suh kick to Ben Roethlisberger

The Pittsburgh Steelers have filed a complaint with the NFL and asked the league to review a play at the end of last Sunday's game in which Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh kicks quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's leg, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.

In the play in question, Suh is engaged with Steelers guard David DeCastro and then kicks out his right leg and makes contact with Roethlisberger's right leg. The Steelers sent video of the play to the NFL, the newspaper reported, citing a source.

"I'm not sure what he was thinking," DeCastro said, according to the newspaper. "You'd have to ask him what he was thinking. I heard Ben saying 'He kicked me,' but I didn't really see it until we watched the film."

Roethlisberger injured his left knee during Sunday's game and could miss four to six weeks after having surgery for a torn meniscus, sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen on Wednesday.

Roethlisberger suffered the injury in the first half of Sunday's 30-15 loss to the Dolphins. He missed one series and then returned to play the entire second half, finishing 19-of-34 for 189 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

It was a blatant kick to Ben's shin. Of course no penalty.

Between Big Ben and Cam Newton, they have a ton of cheap shots on them that just aren't called. I don't care how big they are or how hard they are to get on the ground. It is complete bullshit that this stuff isn't called. I also find it hard to believe that the refs didn't see this in a game where they were calling personal fouls on Mike Mitchell for doing next to nothing yet somehow miss this cheap shot on a star quarterback, and the horse collar tackle on Bell when he is carrying the ball, all alone, in the middle of the field. Throw in calling back the attempted on side kick that the Steelers recovered, and this game was a shit show.

And they wonder why people claim that games are fixed. I'm not saying that they are of course. I don't believe that. But it's hard to explain how this shit happens.

    Of course they did nothing.

Can you imagine if this had happened to Peyton Manning?

Two of the dirtiest players in the NFL attempt to hurt people on the field with clear video evidence.....and the NFL does nothing to Suh, and next to nothing to Burfict who had two cheap plays in one game and seemingly does something dangerous every single game he plays in.

What an embarrassment the NFL has become. They talk about making the game safer, yet allow dangerous players to go on hurting people. They suspend players for huge chunks of seasons and make them lose huge amounts of money for smoking marijuana, but men that beat their women and children, or risk the careers of the people they are supposed to be protecting get slaps on the wrist.

    What a fucking disgrace.....
