    You ever notice the difference between Steeler and Pat fans? Steelers almost always blame the player for something he fell out of compliance whereas Pat fans blame the NFL for everything and their players do no wrong.

    It is 99.99% likely that Bell was not in compliance for reporting his new number.

    It's on him to inform the Steelers of a new phone number ASAP. I don't know the timeline of him changing his phone number, but if he waited to let his employer know the number (it would have them been their job to relay that to the NFL I imagine), then he's at fault.

    I don't think the NFL cares about the tests he had to take for his probation. Those aren't the NFL tests. They might not be at the same standard.

    If the tester didn't even try to call Bell, then he has a case. But if he was calling the old number and Bell had his new number for more than a day, I think that's in the end Bell's fault.
