The Penguins haters are out in full force right now...and you know what? Too effing bad! We won the Cup!!!!

There have been so many people crying on social media on Sid being named the Conn Symthe winner.

There were strong arguments for Kessel or Murray, but Crosby was making a lot of plays not on the stat sheet... His leadership being one of them. He was only 3pts behind Kessel's total, and he had 3 Game winners, so I was fine with it. And I'm sure he is/was honored to get it, but The Cup IS the real prize.

Yup. A hockey player can contribute so many things other than points. A player can be effective at winning faceoffs, being disciplined and not taking penalties, killing penalties, being a good two way player offensively and defensively, etc.
