That's the only thing I can figure. I watched Davis play several times, and he can play. Hits like a tank, and can cover some. Pretty much what the Steelers like in a safety. Still, I am a little broken hearted right now. And No, Davis is not better than Burns. On to the third round.

6'1" 200lbs ran 4.44. He look likes a Steelers safety.

If Billings drops to anywhere in R3, trade next year's R2. He'd be worth a R2, right ... oh wait, he wasn't even worth this year's R2 when he was on the board. Face it, we're just not interested.
See you Space Cowboy ...

Carnell Lake has his work cut out for him. I TRULY hope he's up to the task.

I saw Cam up there.

See you Space Cowboy ...

Is it possible Billings failed a test? way too talented to fall this far.

Gee, only 23 more gut-wrenching and incredibly painful picks to endure.

There goes Maliek Collins.
WHO's LEFT:
Billings, Hargrave, Bullard, Washington**, Day...
**Ohio St. ...and, the Steelers have drafted a Buckeye in 5 of the past 6 drafts.

I see in your signature you predicted Sean Davis in the 2nd though. Nice call.
That being said, it will take me even more time to warmed up to this pick than Artie Burns. There's just no way Billings passes through yet another gauntlet of the Vikings, Redskins, and Bengals ugh

I believe the Steelers went a long ways in improving the secondary. Plus one more thing, if we can get hargrave in the third, IMO, we will be getting a D-lineman that may end up being a better pass rusher that any of the players we have been talking about. I did want Billing though, still do.

Just my opinion, but I do not really buy into this "project player" mentality many folks have (including the TV analysts) . This was even said about Ben Roethlisberger and he rose up immediately. Same thing was said about MarTavis Bryant and he started producing as soon as he got on the field.
I don't think the Steelers drafted these guys o redshirt them for a year.
