I could see that. One retirement(DHB), one drug test(Bryant), one FA contract(Wheaton), and it is only AB and Coates. Sure that is pessimistic, but plan for the worst and expect the best. So - WR in the 3rd?

I wouldn't mind one in the early rounds at all.

I'm tempted to say Im only ok with this if it's Sterling Shepard, but the steelers seem to know it all when it comes to drafting receivers so i would trust them to pick a damn good one irregardless

I'm okay with Sterling Shepard in the second or Pharaoh Cooper in the 3rd, both slot receivers the Steelers brought in for visits...

It's possible they can take a WR early.

I also think that Colbert is throwing that out there because where the Steelers are drafting is where they are projecting a possible run on wide receivers. This would set up the possibility of trading down because a team that needs a WR may want to move up to insure getting the man they really want.

There are so many possibilities in this draft.

As long as it's not super-early with better defensive players on the board, then fine. It's a constant churn at that position.

when you draft a CB in Round 1 with the last name of "Burns", you're asking for it...
