    Yeah, my opinion for years has been that there's no such thing as a "developmental" QB. You don't ever develop from a player who can't play quarterback in the NFL into one who can. You either get it or you don't, and that becomes clear in your first year or two.

    Yes, of course, good QBs learn over time, and are certainly better after a few years than they were as rookies. But the occurrence of guys who look lost out there, then gradually improve into legitimate starters over time, is near nil. If you don't have that special something, you just don't have it.

    I've always believed that as well. It's hard to find a very good NFL QB...almost impossible. There's a lot of one hit wonders and garbage out there to sift through.
