The massive butthurt of all the Brady fangirls at the moment is downright comical, and more than just a tad pathetic...
I am proud to say I forgot the Super Bowl was on until I walked by a restaurant showing it on the TV. I just now looked to see who won.
On a different note, Denver's helmet looked better with the big D on it.
Hater = Realist
DeAngelo Chondon Williams is having a good evening!
This. Everyone should know by now that today you need to maintain control of the football all the way going to the ground. Control of the football only for a split second is not enough to constitute a catch. Refs have been calling it like this all season. You may not like that interpretation of the rules, but it has been that way consistently throughout the season.
In my opinion the refs could have even confirmed the call on the field instead of just letting it stand.
Upon further review, Cotch did not catch that ball and Newton punked out during the post-game interview.
Panthers got out coached and out played. I thin John Elway might go into the HoF again as a GM.
Steelers better do as much as they can to beef up their defense.
All Defense!

Not quite Frank Sinatra photographing the first Ali-Frazier fight at MSG but hey, I'd take the job too.
Dive for the ball in a Super Bowl???? Nope. I'll just watch.
At least Ben doesn't have the lowest QBR of a Super Bowl winning QB anymore. Both Peyton and Cam's ratings were lower than his.
Here's Cam's full pressed transcript for those that didn't see it:
What's your message to Panthers fans?
"We'll be back."
Ron [Rivera] said Denver two years ago had a tough time and they bounced back. Do you take that to heart?
"No."
Can you put a finger on why Carolina didn't play the way it normally plays?
"Got outplayed."
Is there a reason why?
"Got outplayed, bro."
Was it pretty much what you had seen on film from Denver? Anything different they put in for this game?
"Nothing different."
Do we sometimes forget that defenses can still take apart the offenses in this game?
"No."
What did Ron Rivera say after the game?
"He told us a lot of things."
Anything in particular that was memorable?
"Nope."
Obviously you're disappointed. On the biggest stage it's difficult, I know.
[nods head]
Did you see anything that you didn't expect tonight?
"They just played better than us. I don't know what you want me to say. They made more plays than us, and that's what it comes down to. We had our opportunities. It wasn't nothing special that they did. We dropped balls, we turned the ball over, gave up sacks, threw errant passes. That's it. They scored more points than us."
Can you put into words the disappointment you feel right now?
"We lost."
Did Denver change anything defensively to take away your running lanes?
"No."
I know you're disappointed not just for yourself, but for your teammates. It's got to be real tough.
[shakes head] "I'm done man."
WTF was with the fumble and non attempt to recover?
Not quite buying that. Yes, the secondary needs to be improved, but it's not like we're "light years" away either. We were handling the Broncos just fine in their house minus our franchise RB and the best WR in the league and our franchise QB at less than 100% until our 3rd-string RB coughed up the ball. The fact is, the Panthers (as I stated earlier this season) were a paper tiger that went 15-1 against a soft schedule and when they finally got punched in the mouth last night they couldn't deal with it.
DA BRONKOS PAYED DA REFS!
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...play-two-teamsSANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Panthers cornerback Josh Norman, like most of the Carolina defense, didn't have a poor Super Bowl. He had two passes defensed and helped lead a secondary that gave up only 104 yards passing overall.
And he was cryptic when trying to find the cause of the team's 24-10 defeat.
"It's hard to play two teams," Norman said multiple times after the game.
Norman wouldn't elaborate on what he meant. He likely means the officials, not the Panthers' offense. Carolina had 12 penalties in the game, many of them before the snap.
Sorry, son. This is the adult world where someone actually loses, not 4th grade pee-wee league where "everyone's a winner."
The Panthers had way too many false starts and their STs were a major liability right after the QB being completely ineffective. Refs did a good job and I had no horse in the race other than going for the favorite.
They are a bunch of whiners if they complain about anything other than the poor team performance. I think the Pacific time zone might have had an effect plus their QB has an entitlement mentality.
All Defense!
Jake Delhomme played better against the Cheats* in the Panthers' first Super Bowl than Cam played yesterday.
