I'm not going to bitch and moan about KB. He's had a shit secondary and 2 DL playing nearly every down and an underwhelming Jarvis Jones. He'll get it right and hopefully he gets the secondary some help next year.

Yeah, considering what he has had to work with, I am happy with this defense this season. I don't think anyone thought they would play as well as they had this year, which is a direct reflection on Butler. Hell, the defense is the reason we were in some of the games when Ben was out.

I was fine for the most part with what Butler did. He polished that turd of a secondary as much as he could.
The only complaint I could really have is playing Blake as much as he has, and stop playing them so far off the receiver. 10 yards off on 3rd and shorts are just asinine.

Fire him and hire Lovie!

I am happy with what Butler has done, but for the love of God Please do not at any point in any remaining game do not rush just 3, it absolutely kills us every stinking time we do it.

Most of the time I've been OK with how he's played but there's quite a few times where he's been way too conservative. Rushing 3 and sitting back in a soft zone isn't going to work with our secondary.
The Blake situation I blame mostly on Tomlin but if I were the DC, I sure as Hell would've spoken up and gotten him off the field.

What I like about Butler is that he seems to learn from his experiences. Myriad of defensive deficiencies aside, he's already come a long way from the Pats* game. It's not always perfect, but he's really impressed me.

It's Tomlin's fault, obviously.![]()
