    Markus Wheaton's monster day wasted in loss

    Steelers wide receiver Markus Wheaton did what few, if any, receivers have been able to do to the Legion of Boom; he shredded the secondary of the Seattle Seahawks.


    Wheaton caught a career-high nine passes for a career-high 201 yards in Seattle’s 39-30 win over the Steelers at CenturyLink Field, and a large part of it was simply due to the stress the Steelers’ offense puts on a defense.


    Even one as good as the Seahawks, who entered Sunday’s game as the second-best passing defense in the NFL.........

    Both played their asses off in a loss. Frustrating season.
