    However middling, Steelers a perfectly balanced 4-4

    The Steelers start the second half of a thus-far indifferent football season this afternoon for the inspection of the seriously capable Oakland Raiders and approximately 65,000 clock-management specialists at Heinz Field.


    They already have made a potential roster mistake for this critical AFC entanglement, as it appeared at the weekend they were not planning to dress freshly acquired running back Isaiah Pead.


    Seriously, has anyone seen Pead on the grass at Heinz Field?


    Does no one remember the mercurial Bearcat averaging 8.4 yards per carry there Dec. 5, 2009, his touchdown, his 40-yard burst, his major contributions to probably the best college game ever played in the building?............
