Pinch me. Am I dreaming?
Wow a Raven fan I know thought that the ravens would sign him again. I hope he still has something good left but, I saw a few of his returns with SD not much to speak of.
Nice try.
I just checked my calendar... it's not April 1st.
Jacoby Jones was just placed on IR.
He tripped over Tomlin's foot in the lunch room...
Did we sidestep this signing?

I wonder if he takes over PR duties from AB
Jacoby Jones is already listed ahead of Boykin on the depth chart...![]()
It's on nfl.com so it's true!!! I can't believe that they finally got rid of that worthless POS!

Gene Collier @genecollier 7m7 minutes ago #Steelers cut Archer, who averaged 25.3 yards per kickoff return, sign Jones, who averages 21.4, and it makes perfect sense.
Hey Todd, your midget experiment is over.

Wth the jokes out of the way...
I'd rather have Markus Wheaton returning kicks... and save that roster spot for Chickillo.
Well, couldnt be worst than Archer . . . but do we really need a kick returner, was there not a safety or cb on the wire? Maybe a DL?
Just was watching espn and the Steelers just picked up Jacoby Jones! Our return game just got very dangerous with Brown and Jones! Bye, Bye Archer?
too bad this isn't 3-5 yrs ago when JJ was actually a great return man. he has lost a step. but his exp. will give the return game more than what Archer did. I am not a Archer hater he just couldn't make the transition from college to nfl. watch bellyache and the shatcakes sign him and turn him into a good player. hell he did it with edelman. who played at kent State as well. I love that ratshit fans are going ballistic over this signing LOL!!!
Next will be Jarvis Jones. There are now too many J Jones on the roster. Does anybody think the Cards or Titans will sign Archer? I would doubt it at this point.
All Defense!
Hell yeah. Anything that gets rid of Archer is a step in the right direction. The dude contributed NOTHING in his two years here. I wonder if he actually lost yardage on kickoff returns if you count being tackled behind the 20 as negative yards.
Seriously, only regret is that now we're no longer in the

See you Space Cowboy ...
Jones signed a two-year deal with the Chargers as a free agent this offseason, but they opted to cut bait on Wednesday after five games that saw him add very little to their chances of winning games. Jones didn’t catch a pass on offense and his work as a returner resulted in minus-four punt return yards and a 21.3-yard per return average on kickoffs.

the return game has been awful. but to danny smith's credit, the coverage teams have been very good. remember when we used to give up huge returns and a td every other punt?
