Report: Steelers Schedule K Kai Forbath For A Tryout

Veteran kicker Josh Scobee missed two more field goals Thursday night in the Pittsburgh Steelers23-20 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and it appears as though the team is looking for somebody to replace him.
According to CSNMidAtlantic.com, former Washington Redskins kicker Kai Forbath has a tryout scheduled with the Steelers.
Since 2012, Forbath has connected on 87 percent of his field goal attempts. He also worked with Steelers special teams coach Danny Smith when both were with the Redskins.
Forbath was released by the Redskins after the first week of the season.

We can only hope he can at least hit 50% lol, that would be an improvement (which is pathetic to even type)! 50% FGs would put us at possibly 4-0, at worst 3-1 record lol.

Keep trying until we find a new K. I don't see how Scobee could survive the locker room after last night's performance. If Tomlin kept him he would lose half the players.

Hold an open tryout at Heinz Field. You'd think there would be a few random people out there who can kick a field goal.

I had a college classmate who wasn't on any athletic team, but he attempted a 60-yarder at a party on one of the quads. He missed--wide right. And it had the distance for at least 10 more yards.
