Steelers Defense Breaks Out With Physical, Aggressive Play

It was not much of a stretch for most ardent observers to picture the Pittsburgh Steelers offense generating six touchdown drive en route to a blowout victory over the 49ers, which is exactly what happened yesterday. It was a little harder to predict the level of physicality that the defense was able to muster through much of the night.

It seemed to me, during the game that when we went with Heyward and Tuitt and then the rest LB's we were much better. Makes sense as we have Timmons, Shazier, Moats, Dupree, JH, JJ and Spence . . . 7 LBs all better than our NT's. I think I would like that line-up more often in the future.

The LB's were feasting, attaboy to Butler...he got them playing fast
