It's typically a grueling task for an NFL coach to finalize his 53-man roster.
For Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, it wasn't difficult at all this year, and he has Le'Veon Bell and Martavis Bryant to thank.
With Bell suspended for the first two games and Bryant for the first four, Tomlin had two roster spots at his disposal that he wouldn't have had ordinarily. That made determining the roster rather easy.
“You often spend a lot of time debating on the guys from 50 through 55, and having those two additional spots minimized that discussion,” Tomlin said during his weekly news conference Saturday.
The likely beneficiaries: undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver Tyler Murphy and fullback Roosevelt Nix.............
