This team is consistent with its red zone (non) production.

    things to work on:

    1. Tackling.
    2. Communication on Defense.
    3. Time Management.
    4. Better Situational Play Calling.
That list would apply to the last three seasons, so I wouldn't expect any changes

i thought DeAngelo Williams had a superb game. he and Antonio Brown were the only bright spots IMO.

the defense, play-calling, and coaching were all bush-league. there is no excuse for a professional football team to be as unprepared as the Steelers have been week in and week out for the last several years. the coaching staff and the front office have to go if they want any real hope of winning another Super Bowl with their current stars.

That's why I'm hoping someone absolutely cranks Brady this year. I'm talking a broken-nose, helmet-flying-15-yards-in-the-air, straight up cranking.

It's more of the same, the team hasn't gotten any better.

well add 6 points on missed fgs and probably another 7 points when we were at 1st and goal and we win this game

Can't say that. The Patriots may have played a different game in that case. Yes, the missed field goals hurt us, but to assume we win without the mistakes is ridiculous.

The gimmick play on the first drive was in my opinion, the turning point of the game. We were gashing them (we gashed them all night really), and that play stopped the drive. You always want to get on top of a team like NE early if you have the chance. That just wasn't the time and place for a trick play.

Assuming a win, no but having a better chance to win, yes.

You have to take advantage of your chances when you're playing a team like NE on the road. Could have had 7 on the first drive, and should have had 7 more on the play where DHB's foot slid out of bounds. This was a winnable game.

Gronk is an incredible weapon. I don't know that there's ever been anything like him before. Big as hell, yet fast and athletic. How the hell do you defend against him? The guys his size can't cover him, and he just overpowers the small guys who can stay with him.

Excellent question. I'm very confused by this. Was he hurt in warm-ups?

Was wondering the same about Boykin, but honestly not covering gronk at all on those 3 plays was huge, how do you EVER leave gronk completely uncovered?

Will Allen supposedly suffered a concussion. May be Shamarko time. Think the communication was bad last night?!?

Bumping this thread as a little reminder:

Brady put 28 points up on the Steelers secondary.

He put 40 on Buffalo. He put 51 on Jacksonville.

    Just a thought...
