We don't need anyone to come in and upgrade the third-string running back position. Whoever that person is will only be the backup for two games, and after that they will probably get 10 touches all year if that. No reason to waste time and money on that, unless our goal is to replace Archer permanently, in which case I would be all for it.
As for the center position, our best option there is Pouncey. Meaning we make do for 8 games and then he comes back and is far better than anyone we could've signed. Look, I know Wallace and Legursky are limited, but I've seen them both do the job adequately when needed. That's what backups are for. If we don't have any confidence that they can fill in for a few games, then why the fuck are they even on the team?
See you Space Cowboy ...
Browns released Phil Taylor. I would be interested in picking him up. Injuries have slowed him down but he has talent and size. I would put him on par with Mcclendon and a definite upgrade over Mccullers and Cam Thomas

That doesn't mean Webb is DEFINITELY going to get the job. But it sure is a strong sign.
For what it's worth, B.W. Webb was ahead of Kevin Fogg the entire preseason. Always played first, including tonight. #Steelers

I figured H. Jones would be sent to the PS. Perhaps now Chickillo stays. Archer is useless.
