Organized team activities are voluntary — at least that is what's said when a player doesn't show up for one of the offseason sessions.
For the Steelers, they don't have to worry about that. Everyone has shown up every day.
Through the first six OTA sessions, the Steelers' attendance rate has been 99 percent, which is a noticeable contrast from past years.
Troy Polamalu rarely showed up. Ike Taylor missed nearly half of them last year. Ben Roethlisberger skipped one or two as well.
Years ago, a player didn't show up because he was going to buy a dog.
