    Steelers notebook: LB Harrison open for larger role

    Earlier this month, new Steelers outside linebackers coach Joey Porter said he wanted to limit 37-year-old James Harrison to 25 snaps per game this season.


    On Tuesday, Harrison said he was open to that arrangement but wasn't sure it would play out as such.


    “We'll get into the season and see how things roll out,” Harrison said after completing the Steelers' first organized team activity of the offseason. “Initially, when I came (out of retirement) last year, I was supposed to be a 15- to 20-snap guy, and things rolled out a different way.” ......

    I think it's going to depend on how well he does (which it should). IMO, the perfect scenario woul have him playing light early in the season and then playing heavier down the road, into the playoffs and on Super Bowl Sunday.
