I'm also not really happy with the discipline on D. Whether you agree with the calls or not, 4 personal fouls in one half is completely unacceptable. Thankfully it's preseason and there's still time to iron that out.

Dixon looks, not good, the first pick was all on him and he should have thrown it away...the 2nd one was partly him and partly the receiver but I put more blame on DD cause thats just how it is when your QB.
Lets see how he does here in the 2nd half if they elected to let him play. If Denvers starters are still in they might want to let Leftwich get some action against them.

Halftime Thoughts:
Up until the end of the half, the O-Line was looking pretty good. I've never liked the Flozell Adams signing, and he didn't help himself much. I only noticed Pouncey get really pushed back once, maybe twice. He's done a solid job against Williams. That kid is legit.
Penalties. WAY too many of them. The players better expect some butt-chewing from Tomlin this week.
Lewis is not ready to start. Promising kid, but not ready to start.
Big Ben looked good for the most part. Little bit of rust, but he's definitely a star quarterback.
Mendenhall looked good. Would have preferred a little better run blocking.
Antonio Brown is fast. But is he good?
Our pass coverage seems a little shaky. Maybe it was just amplified by Lewis' poor play.
Timmons was a beast in there. I saw several run stuffing plays. That's the kind of stuff our D is gonna need.
I look forward to the second half.

Troy Aikman and Buck Suck as announcers and we will be fine at QB but the starter will probably be Lefty not Dixon.
I have not lost faith in Dixon even though he had a bad night tonight. He did good last year against the ratbirds so he can get it back. Just a bad night.

Nice run DD...I think this could be something to consider, after having a bad 1st half, how does he repond and bounce back in the 2nd? So far so good.
