Steelers: 2 steps back mean step forward for rookies

This is how it works at wide receiver:

Hines Ward, a receiver in the National Football League for the past 12 seasons, said Mike Wallace has to learn how to slow down.

But the coaches want Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown, a pair of elusive rookie receivers, to learn how to play faster.

I can't wait to see what Sanders can do this week. I'm much more optimistic about the future of our recieving core now than before the draft. Both of these guys seem to have the drive and the talent to make a huge differnce for us.

Willie Reid, Fred Gibson, Troy Edwards. The Steelers have had plenty of failures. Don't forget that most of us were very excited after Limas was drafted. Both Brown and Sanders are looking good right now but let's see what they do in real games against top defensive talent.

    Excellent article.

I am a little biased on this one because Sanders was one of the players that I liked before the draft (and I like to be proven right ) But I really do think that Sanders will end up being our #4 and that Brown is going to end up being our Return Specialist. This game is going to be interesting as it will start to iron out some of the questions as to who will probably make the final roster...who goes on the PS ...and who gets their pink slip.
