Most at mocks had him as a R3 pick.

I would've rather had Carter at that spot. If he's there for our third pick, we'd be nuts to pass him up. If he's not there, Carl Davis would be a great pick and good value to help NT ... which, it's obvious, we have no interest in.

CARTER: It might be like the Bryant pick in 2014: they could have gotten him in R3, but got him in R4. Likewise, I'd love to get Carter in R3... when he could have been picked in R2.

I wouldn't have used a third round pick on a receiver, anyways, he could be a good number 2 if he surpasses Bryant. We're good at receivers now.
