PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown made headlines this week when he did not show up at the team’s offseason workouts.

On Monday, reports surfaced that the 26-year-old was considering a holdout as he seeks a new contract.

That may or not be the case, but according to Brown himself, he missed the team’s workouts this week because he is spending time with his new child.

Brown sent out a tweet on Tuesday evening that said “I’ll be there” and added a pair of tweets on Wednesday explaining that he’s spending time with his new child and making no mention of his contract.
