Of course it's the first game while Bell is suspended. I'm only surprised they didn't make it the second game so the Patriots would have their guy back.

To the surprise of absolutely no one. It was the best matchup available on the Cheats* home schedule.

Wouldn't put it past the league at all to stick it to the Steelers like that.

First three games of the season:
    Taperiots, Ravens, Seahawks

Last three games of the season (post season):
    Taperiots, Ravens, Seahawks

I only care care about winning those last three.

No Revis means we can pass on the Pats.

Actually, come to think of it I will switch at Seattle with at Cincinnati, Goodell will hope to put Pittsburgh in an 0-2 hole in the division then send Pittsburgh to Seattle in week 4.

So does this mean the Steelers will be going to the run, run, pass, punt offense they normally use against New England?

    Le'veon Bell suspended?

Of course the Steelers will face one of their toughest opponents without their Team MVP.

Home to Baltimore Week Two and in Seattle in Week Three.

I hope not. They'll need at least 40 if they want a shot at winning...and even that might not be enough given the black hole that is the Steelers' secondary right now.

In 2011, when the Steelers defeated the Patriots, Ben attempted 50 pass and the Steelers had the ball during 40 minutes!

Even with Bell, I do not think the Steelers would win against the Patriots,so I think it's a good thing that one of the games that Bell will miss, it's against the Patriots

I have not trust on the steelers defense and the last time the Steelers have played in New England, the Steelers had give up 55 points and 600 offensive yards to the pats.

Bring 'em on. I'm pumped for this game. Wish Bell could play, but it is what it is. What a way it would be to open the season to beat New England in their own building. I don't fear this team. Who's covering AB and Bryant now that Revis and Browner are gone?

Love your thoughts, hope your right. Would absolutely love to win a Superbowl beating those three teams to do it.

I am with you on this, never concede a game. We haven't even gone through the draft and the way some of you are talking it's all over before it starts. We have a tough schedule this year, it's just the way it is, but I like our chances. Last time we won the Super Bowl we had a tough schedule without Ben and many thought it was all going to be doom and gloom and we won 3 of 4 on our way to SIX!!! Bring it!!!

Re: Steelers at Patriots in Thursday night regular-season opener.

Get Luck and Peyton at home.

Going to Seattle AFTER the bye week.

The Steelers were handed a break there.

A lot of nemeses and Steelers enemies old and new on this schedule. Arians returns to Pittsburgh, Steelers go to Seattle for the first time since XL, Steelers open up against the hated Patriots in Foxboro.

Nothing left to do but say bring them on. Bring them all on.

No Wilfork in the middle either.
I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest. If you can't take it, you shouldn't play!- Jack Lambert

Yeehaw! September 10th is the 1st day of my four day weekend that stretch. God is good. Bring it, you sonsabiotches!

I hope the Steelers insure the air pressure in the footballs is up to standard for the game. If there's any hanky-panky in this regard, I'm gonna kick 'em in the beans.

It depends on how much they gain on the first 2 downs of running. If it's 3rd and long they will run a draw. It's all about setting up the punt : )
