Stunning if an offensive lineman turns out to the pick. Mike Munchak has some influence, and the Steelers have paid a lot more attention to Donovan Smith than La'el Collins. Bear in mind that the starting five will not start all 16 games, due to the inevitable injury, so the brain trust might be thinking that Smith has the ability to play both guard and tackle, with the potential to eventually supplant one of the current starters. I would think Smith would be available in the second or third round though, but maybe the Steelers don’t.
