PHOENIX — By the way Le'Veon Bell performed last year, Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert was comfortable calling him “a pretty good back.”

Only good? Why not great?

“You have to save great for guys that have done it for a lot of years. Joe Greene taught me that a long time ago,” Colbert said. “It's good to do it. Let's do it again, let's do it again.”

The same can be said about the Steelers offense — it was pretty good last year; actually bordering on great, but can it do it again?

Mike Tomlin thinks so — actually, he thinks the Steelers can be the best offense in the NFL — but he sure isn't taking anything for granted.

“That's a challenge every year,” Tomlin said Tuesday at the league's annual meeting. “We don't base what we are trying to get done in 2015 on what happened in 2014. It's not a continuation.”

But it's an awfully good jumping off point.
