The Ravens reportedly want to knock out their two longest regular season road trips of 2015 in one fell swoop.
According to BaltimoreRavens.com, the team has asked the NFL to schedule its games against Oakland and San Francisco in consecutive weeks, club president Dick Cass said Monday. The request, if granted, would presumably allow the Ravens to set up in the Bay Area for a little more than a week, and perhaps close to two full weeks.
However, Cass told the club’s website the Ravens weren’t the only team that had asked to play the Bay Area teams back-to-back. The Packers, Vikings and Bengals also play at Oakland and San Francisco in the 2015 regular season.
The Ravens are 3-2 all-time in the Bay Area, winning at San Francisco in 1996 and Oakland in the 2000 AFC title game and the 2010 regular season.
