It seems to me that Chip Kelly thinks he can run "his offense" with average to below average talent at the skill positions on offense, and that he is going to spend the bigger dollars acquiring defensive players. I think he is a duma$$ with the moves he has made this offseason, but I guess we will all see. If the team manages a better record this year then I guess I will have to concede that Chip knows what he is doing (but I don't think this will be the case).

I never thought Foles was that good, to be honest. Kind of like Kevin Kolb-plus. OK, but will never get you anywhere beyond 10-6 and a disappointing first-round playoff exit.
Bradford isn't that good either. But if you can trade one for the other and get an extra second-round draft pick out of it, I guess you won?

Bradford didn't want to renegotiate his contract so he was in danger of getting released. Looks like the Rams are just trying to get something out of him.

Really? Then I have no idea. And the Eagles look like they have to eat about an extra $10M in salary. Maybe they like Bradford better, but he's not THAT much better. Or maybe they do have a second trade up their sleeve.

Bradford is due almost $13M this season. Foles is only due $1.5M.

No other team is going to take on that contract. The only reason for the Eagles to trade for him would be if they think that he can be their starter.
The Eagles OC is Shurmur, who was the Rams OC when Bradford was a rookie.

Eagles only got a 5th round pick in 2015 as well as a 3rd/4th round pick in 2016 while forking over a 4th in 2015 and 2nd in 2016. What were they thinking?

If Foles is healthy, he could be a good piece for the Rams who had a good team in a tough division last year. As far as what Chip Kelly is up to, I have no idea.
