I don't think they went with the yellow helmets. The black with yellow numbers went with yellow helmets.mmi could be wrong but I seem to recall the first year with the bumblebees the helmets were plain black?

The yellow helmets were blah, but I have fond memories of those unis as Ben smacked the Ratbirds to the tune of 35 points that game. One of my favorite beatdowns in recent Steelers memory.
