Interview with OLB- DE Jonathan Archie

These smaller school kids are without a doubt the most respectful and J Arch is no exception , quality kid with a good upbringing and it shows ...

did I mention he can ball as well ? great first step and nice length and with a non stop motor too

school canceled their pro day at last moment leaving him hung out to dry and to late to get in on another teams pro day ... sucks ...

on a brighter note he has been invited to CFL tryouts so that may be his best option at the moment

His highlights are more impressive than that other small school guy, the one that just lined up outside everybody and ran to the QB. Archie seems to have more than one rush move and the ability to disengage from blockers. Terrific closing speed when he goes after the QB or ball carrier. My only criticism is he appears to be a "reach and grab" tackler.

funny thing is they where lining him up primarily at DT ( forced because of player injuries ) with a mix of DE dependent on down and distance ... the man is 250 pounds soak n wet and managed to play well as an interior D-lineman ... without question at his current weight he is an OLB in the NFL but has the frame to add weight and play end but never in a million years DT
