Turns out Mueller has ties to the NFL. He worked for the same law firm that represented the NFL against DirecTV, and apparently also has ties to the Ravens as well. Heard this on 93.7 The Fan on my way in to work this afternoon. Nope, no conflict of interest here. But really, is anyone surprised that Goodell's ass was saved?

Yeah, I don't think anyone was surprised by this. The NFL is as crooked and corrupt as they come.
I knew Goodell was in the clear as soon as he had his press conference stating he had appointed a committee and that changes were going to be made....
Basically, what Texasteel said.
It sucks, but Goodell isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
More BS Worthless Roger needs to go but, we all know better even when he screws up no punishment or fine. If a player has any ties to any bad PR for the shield he gets fined. Goodell is untouchable.
