Same old story for star-crossed Cincinnati Bengals

It's déjà vu all over again for Cincinnati.

Four years. Four straight first-round playoff defeats for the star-crossed Bengals.

I heard today that the Bungles have loss their last 12 playoff games. That's being offed in the first game of the playoffs 12 times. I would think they could have won one of them by accident. It may be time for a new coach, I hope they don't get one.

    Conversely, look at the Ravens.

And we have fans who are whinging endlessly (NOT HERE - I'd better make sure I say that before anyone gets upset) about the Steelers losing their last 2.

Remember boys and girls, it could be worse. You could be a Bengals fan. And, like Tex, I hope they never fire Marvin Lewis. I might actually fear them if they did, because that team has a ton of talent that is being completely wasted by poor coaching and warm cat piss at QB.

If we had Mike Brown as our owner, Andy Daulton as our qb and Marvin Lewis as our coach I would expect no better.

It's not that bad; they've only lost their last 6. Of course, the last time they won a playoff game was 25 years ago, since they went from 1991 to 2005 without even a winning record.

Man, and people think 25 years between Super Bowl wins was a long haul ...
