Paranoid House Republican Descends Into Madness And Claims Donald Trump Is A Democratic Plant

The paranoid party is turning on Donald Trump. Republican Congressman Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) is claiming that Donald Trump is a Democratic plant that was sent to hurt the Republican Party. The Miami Herald reported:In another interview with Colombia’s W Radio, Curbelo, who supports Jeb Bush for president, piled on.“There are too many important national, local international topics to waste time talking about a person who, I repeat, in my judgment is irrelevant — and who quite possibly is a phantom candidate recruited by the left to create this entire political circus,” he said.
And he further explained to Miami radio host Roberto Rodríguez Tejera.
“I think there’s a small possibility that this gentleman is a phantom candidate,” Curbelo said. “Mr. Trump has a close friendship with Bill and Hillary Clinton. They were at his last wedding. He has contributed to the Clintons’ foundation. He has contributed to Mrs. Clinton’s Senate campaigns. All of this is very suspicious.”

With the majority of Americans being receivers and the minority paying for it I do not expect anyone but a liberal (no matter how sleazy, unethical or incompetent) to win the majority vote.

So for me it's for the entertainment.

    Go Donald!

Report: Officials seek criminal probe of Hillary Clinton e-mail account

WASHINGTON — Two inspectors general have asked the Justice Department to open a criminal investigation into whether sensitive government information was mishandled in connection with the personal email account Hillary Rodham Clinton used as secretary of state, senior government officials said Thursday.

The request follows an assessment in a June 29 memo by the inspectors general for the State Department and the intelligence agencies that Mrs. Clinton's private account contained "hundreds of potentially classified emails." The memo was written to Patrick F. Kennedy, the under secretary of state for management.

It is not clear if any of the information in the emails was marked as classified by the State Department when Mrs. Clinton sent or received them.

As crazy as Donald Trump is, I would love to see him be the one with enough balls to run as a 3rd party candidate. Its about time someone breathed some fresh air into our joke of a bipartisan system.

All in all, this is shaping up to be one of the worst field of candidates i've ever seen or heard of in my life. That goes for both sides.

    Re: 2016 Presidential Election

I think not treating trump fairly will be a problem for Republicans. This will set up 2 situations, either Trump doesn't win and he either runs as a 3rd candidate or doesn't run and a lot of the conservative base stays home, both of which will lead to a Clinton victory, and if Trump wins he is not going to win as too many people will be turned off by him as nothing more than a reality TV sideshow. They would probably be better letting him compete, attacking him for his pro-abortion stance, anti-POW stance, and play statements he made that were favorable to the Dems and liberals. Also I can't imagine him winning enough GOP voters as the field dwindles.

    Hillary Unveils Climate Change Plan

AMES, Iowa (AP) — Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton planned to unveil a plan Sunday aimed at combating climate change that includes revisions in the tax code to promote renewable energy.

In Iowa, the nation’s second-leading wind energy producer, Clinton said people are “just not paying attention” if they don’t acknowledge climate change.

Clinton said she supported renewing the wind energy tax credit and getting other tax incentives “fixed” to promote renewable fuel.

Though Clinton hinted that under her plan the coal industry would face changes, she said the federal government would help the industry.

Climate change has become a key issue in the Democratic presidential primary, where Clinton is the heavy favorite.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, a Democratic candidate for president to the left of Clinton who has been attracting increasingly larger crowds, told voters Sunday in Louisiana, where a gunman opened fire in a movie theater Thursday night, that common ground can be found on gun control.

Bernie Sanders Defends His Record On Guns

“We don’t have to argue with each other and yell at each other. We need a common sense solution.”

On Sunday, Sanders dismissed criticism from Democrats on his prior opposition to gun control measures and defended his support for universal background checks, a ban on assault weapons and closing the gun show loophole.

    Re: 2016 Presidential Election

Bernie sounds a lot like Trump on immigration

    Ezra Klein

You said being a democratic socialist means a more international view. I think if you take global poverty that seriously, it leads you to conclusions that in the US are considered out of political bounds. Things like sharply raising the level of immigration we permit, even up to a level of open borders. About sharply increasing ...

    Bernie Sanders

Open borders? No, that's a Koch brothers proposal

“That’s a right-wing proposal, which says essentially there is no United States… What right-wing people in this country would love is an open-border policy.”

Klein countered by saying heavier immigration would allow the global poor to become richer, but Sanders said that could only come at the expense of existing American workers.

“You know what youth unemployment is in the United States of America today?” he said. “If you’re a white high school graduate, it’s 33 percent, Hispanic 36 percent, African American 51 percent. You think we should open the borders and bring in a lot of low-wage workers, or do you think maybe we should try to get jobs for those kids?”

“I think from a moral responsibility we’ve got to work with the rest of the industrialized world to address the problems of international poverty, but you don’t do that by making people in this country even poorer,” he continued.

Hillary Clinton: I’ll Take a Stand on Keystone When I’m President

Hillary Clinton wants to wait until she wins the White House before taking a stand on the controversial Keystone XL pipeline.

At a town hall in New Hampshire on Tuesday, Clinton responded to a question from the audience asking if she would sign a bill approving the pipeline by saying that she would not "second guess" President Obama's decision. Should the issue still be alive in January 2017, however, then Clinton will say what her position is.

"If it's undecided when I become president, I will answer your question," Clinton said.

Venezuela could run out of beer by next month

Venezuela could stop making beer by August, as local breweries run out of ingredients needed to produce the country’s most popular alcoholic drink. A brewery shutdown would reduce the country’s beer supply by a terrifying 80 percent, according to industry leaders

Joe Biden: The Looming Threat to a Republican Presidency

Hillary Clinton’s polls are crashing. The once inevitable shoe-in for the Democratic nomination is now trailing Republican candidates Bush, Walker and Rubio in critical swing states Colorado, Iowa and Virginia – after leading GOP contestants by a wide margin just a few months ago in various core states.

Polls can change, but emerging character problems may not. Voters don’t trust Clinton, and that reading is likely to get worse, since she now faces a possible Justice Department investigation over her use of a personal email server while Secretary of State. The inspector generals at the State Department and the country’s intelligence agencies have determined that contrary to earlier denials, Clinton received and sent emails on her personal server that contained classified information....

    And yet:

A Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows that in a hypothetical general election match-up, Sanders tops Trump 44% to 39%. The data point shows that although Trump is leading the GOP pack now, he could prove to be a disaster for Republicans in a broader presidential contest next year.
