A.J. Green officially OUT

There was some hope for Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green yesterday, when he came out to practice on a limited basis after suffering a concussion last week.

There’s not so much today.

According to Geoff Hobson of the team’s official website, Green came to practice today in sweats, and is not participating.

Green remains in the concussion protocol after taking a shot to the head last week against the Steelers. He’d need clearance from an independent neurologist tomorrow to be cleared for Sunday’s wild card game against the Colts.

He'll play...Guaranteed. At this point in the year, players like Green and others don't practice much anyways. Kinda like Our Ben. He knows what to do. I am sure he has a minor Headache, but he will play.

Hyperbole sir. Protocol or no protocol...the league will pass him. Besides this is nothing new. I have seen Troy get these all through his career, only to not practice the entire week, and suit up on Sunday. Trust me...Green will play.

that would be Ma'am, but really if he doesnt pass he doesnt play! at this point in his carreer he practices every day he is in his 4th year unlike troy, keisel and all the other old vets on the steelers who have played 10 plus years and get a extra day off.

It's totally "new" at this point with all the concussion lawsuits against the league. He doesn't pass 100%, he doesn't play. There's no "gray area" anymore.

Well color me WRONG....and Humble. First, sorry for the sir..MA'AM. ...I didn't know, please accept my apology. Second, I guess you all were right. Green will not play unless cleared 100 % And right now on PFT...they say that Green is officially Doubtful. Now that does not 100 % mean he is out. But Doubtful. Sorry I argued otherwise.

I believe 'doubtful' is 75 % being out ! Odd's may have swayed over to Colts winning. Hopefully.
