Tomlin: Steelers 'relatively healthy' going into prime-time tilt with Bengals
Mike Tomlin said today the Steelers are extremely healthy heading into their AFC showdown with the Bengals Sunday night.
Tomlin said the Steelers had only two players get injured in their 20-12 win over the Chiefs Sunday and none of them are serious and three key injured players have a chance to return.
“Vince Williams has an ankle [injury], we will see where he is,” Tomlin said. “Kelvin Beachum has a lower-back issue. Then we have the three guys who will be evaluated this week and we will let our evaluation be our guide as the week progresses -- that would be Ike Taylor (shoulder/forearm), Matt Spaeth (elbow) and Troy [Polamalu] (knee).
“Largely, we came out of this game relatively healthy and that’s good.”...........
