Basically, the Pirates made $20-24 Million in the last 2 years . Thats NET PROFIT . When they know that a player is about to ask for more money , they will get rid of him and bring up a kid from the minors. The owners are awful baseball people but great business people. Aslong as my Yankees pay them with the revenue sharing, they are happy. God Bless the Rooneys !!!!
