Le'Veon Bell joined some elite company in Steelers history with 204 yards rushing

He joined Willie Parker and Frenchy Fuqua and John Henry Johnson as Steelers running backs to rush for 200-plus yards in a game, but that was the historical significance of what Le’Veon Bell did at LP Field on Monday night. What was of more immediate importance was what his contributions meant to this Steelers team at this point of this season.

Le’Veon Bell ran for 204 yards on 33 carries, and he added another 18 yards on two receptions, plus he scored a rushing touchdown in the Steelers’ come-from-behind 27-24 win over the Tennessee Titans.

Bell is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.

Also considered were Antonio Brown, who caught nine passes for 91 yards and a touchdown;Heath Miller, who caught five passes for 71 yards; Brett Keisel, who finished with two tackles and two batted passes; and the offensive line of Marcus Gilbert, David DeCastro, Maurkice Pouncey,Ramon Foster, and Kelvin Beachum, plus tight ends Matt Spaeth and Miller, plus fullbackWill Johnson for doing the heavy lifting that allowed Bell to do his thing.
