This. Hypothetically speaking, if the playoffs started next week, the Steelers win the division based on conference record (5-2 vs. 4-3). Since there are 7 games left, it really doesn't matter much anyway.

Systemically, it is the problem with all media these days. Half truths to generate traffic. It used to mean something to be a trusted news source. Those days are loooooong gone.

no doubt but ( flawed logic ) I expect more by paid writers from the official NFL website , I could see it by the Cleveland Plain Dealer sports department or even the Youngstown Vindicator but not the Leagues official site
