I have a feeling an epiphany was finally reached after the Browns fiasco: you ain't winning many games when you take the ball out of your best and most important player's hands (and, by proxy, your second-best player's hands as well) until you're 3 TDs behind, especially when you no longer have a defense that can pitch near-shutouts.
