Rookie Bryant sparks deep passing game for Steelers in victory
Todd Haley was a little worried about Martavis Bryant.
Not that the Steelers offensive coordinator didn't have confidence in the rookie fourth-round wide receiver, but such inexperienced players tend to think a little more playing in their first career game, and Haley knew that.
So did coach Mike Tomlin.
So, what Bryant did against the Houston Texans on Monday night at Heinz Field required minimal thinking. Bryant ran down the middle of the field as fast as he could and hauled in what equaled the longest Steelers' touchdown pass of the season at a time when it was needed most............
