    Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict has been fined $25,000 for twisting the ankles of Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and tight end Greg Olsen during Sunday's game between the teams, according to a league source.

    Might explain why Colon carpet rubbed him. That is dirty and he should probably be suspended. That is definitely intent to injure.

    Yep, should've been suspended. That fine won't teach him a damn thing. The simple fact that he did it twice in the same game puts it over the top.

    He did it twice in one game. Should have been a $15,000 for first offense, $25,000 and 1 game for the second. Too bad for him that he did both in one game.

    I don't mind hitting hard and knocking body parts around, that is the violent game that we watch. Intent to injure beyond the normal play of the game just boils my pot.
