Steelers gamechangers: TE Palmer, CB McCain

Nobody thought the Steelers were going to pass the ball on the 1-yard line. Surely, if they were going to throw the ball, it wouldn't be to Michael Palmer.

With three tight ends and a fullback in the game late in the first half, that's exactly what the Steelers did.
Ben Roethlisberger threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Palmer with 1:58 left until halftime to give the Steelers a 10-3 lead. It was their only offensive touchdown of the game.

“Everybody was expecting us to pound it in there,” Roethlisberger said.

Instead, Roethlisberger threw to a tight end who was playing his fourth snap of the season.......

Those were the game highlights. If Ike Taylor was covering he would have knocked it away, but they would have had another down.

I love Heath but if we had another high caliber TE it could take us to the next level imo.
