I don't see how that follows from what I said. I'm rooting for our veteran QB, not Indy's.

All I know is that I have Downs and Pierce on my fantasy team and those guys do way better with Flacco in the game than Richardson.

Not just steelers fan are unhappy about their head coach when they lose a game or they are in a bad streak
Just look at one rams fan one month ago on Sean McVay when they were 1-4(with a depleted roster btw)

This is despite, the rams have been in 2 super bowl under McVay since 2017 and making the playoffs 5 times in the first 7 seasons....He is too spoiled I guess!

One more SB win would make Tomlin the 2nd best coach in Steelers history. I think they will be talking about the Wilson and Fields trades during meetings for the next couple of decades. They finally got ahead of the curve for the first time in many, many years.
The team wants to win now, so adjust your bitching and complaining please.

The narrative cycle is complete.
The team is under rated.
Then plays “better” than the so called pundits thought.
Coaches and players get talked about for all the awards.
Then team is suddenly thought of as a “contender”.
Team ends up winning like 10 games and making a frisky playoff appearance. (The outcome anyone who actually pays attention would’ve figured).
Then the team is “below expectations “ because the experts got all over worked hyping the team up.
Rinse.
Repeat.

It's so true.
Most of these media types tend to try to justify whatever their preseason predictions were for the team's performance and their perceived talent level.
Once they have deemed that a team is "flawed", they praise the team for having a good won/loss record but then say that they are limited and not a real contender to win a super bowl. They want everyone to think they are "pretenders".
We see it every season.

Couldn’t agree with you all more.
Quit taking in content from ESPN, NFLN, etc awhile back. Only see it posted here.
Switched to team focused sites or outlets that say “wow, we were wrong” a great deal. A couple of YouTube places like QB School for detailed reviews.
Makes tuning out the noise so much easier. Also totally takes away the “this team SHOULD” have won/lost this or that game. Because the hot takes and hype are where that comes from in my opinion.
Bottom line, if it is on TV there is at least a 75% chance it is a waste of your time and contains no actual football knowledge but fluffy opinions and speculation. Exceptions like the Orlovsky breakdown of the winning TD prove the rule.

I don't know... 8-2 is nice and all especially after beating one of the top teams in the league, but I am starting to wonder where would this team be at had they fired Tomlin and brought in somebody else? They probably would have been better off because Tomlin just doesn't know how to win important football games......
I am guessing right now this team would probably be right around 9-1 or maybe even 10-0 (much better than 8-2 if you do your math right) and building something special for the future. Kenny Pickett, along with his golden arm, when combined with the brilliance of [insert new head coach name here] would have lead this team to many championship seasons.
But, the owners chose the lesser of the two, so we are stuck with what we have.
If only they had fired Mike Tomlin......

It was mentioned on the morning radio ride in that nobody can muck up what another team is trying to do better than Mike Tomlin. When you have the players, and the players are on the same page with what needs to be stopped, the HC is a genius. Same coach with lesser players and he's being out coached.
Now, let's do the same to the Browns.

Actually 8 points. 6 points would leave us with two ties.![]()

This Season Is Mike Tomlin’s Masterpiece
The Steelers have no business being this good. He’s the only reason they are.
