OK, makes sense.
The notion that the Steelers just plug Jones in at LT, when he was getting his ass handed to himself at RT in the preseason is just mind boggling to me. Fans think that if you move a guy to another side that he suddenly will play lower, with stronger base and have a stonger punch so that the QB doesnt get sacked from the blind side, rather than his front side.
Its a 2 way street and Broderick Jones needs to put in the work as much as the Steelers coaching staff needs to coach him up. I have to trust that is happening, but its obviously not at the point of success yet.
Maybe there is a point where Fautanu ends up at LT and Jones gets in at RT. That would be a best case scenario where both young guys get some development and playing time. I think Fautanu is a better technician at this point and might have more college snaps at OT than Jones did.
