"Staff writer" for Steelernation.com = blogging from his mother's basement, more than likely.
On Depot, you have to pick and choose by the byline.
Just skip anything Marczi writes....he's just there to function as a human AI aggregator of content so the site can pay its bills. I feel kinda sorry for him....that job must suck. Having to churn out like a dozen posts a day covering the nonsense other sites feel forced to churn out to keep the lights on. It is a circle jerk of stupid for all involved. Rough gig.
Dave is good for anything with the salary cap, contracts, and weird minutia of NFL rules. He is almost always right and often nails his contract predictions for extensions and such.
Alex seems to know what he is talking about and I usually learn something from reading and watching his stuff.
They have another guy that seems to put together decent OL posts.
And then, just skip the rest that is summarized content. That crap only exists to get eyeballs to advertisers to pay the bills. Overall, it is not bad for a fan site with no team access, ability to interact with players or coaches, etc.
It would be far better if they didn't have to drive up that "unique number of visitors" number. I am convinced that is why they have switched to so much nonsense content with nice(r) nuggets mixed in.
Fascinating to watch all the national “experts “ freak out about Wilson being treated as the de facto starter.
Funny how these guys don’t pay attention to anything coaches or players say but instead invent their own narrative and then flip out when it doesn’t come true.
This all played out exactly how everyone in Pittsburgh said it would but watching these jokers flip out is funny.
Good lord I wish I could half ass my job even half of what these clowns get away with.
Mike Tomlin goes the extra mile to ruin Steelers first-round pick's career
The Pittsburgh Steelers are between a rock and a hard place on the offensive line. Mike Tomlin is making the wrong decision with Broderick Jones, again.

I think there was talk this pre-season that Jones was drafted to play LT and that he would play at LT. I don't remember any story lines out of TC this year that Moore was beating Jones out for the job like we did last TC. It could be the Fautanu injury has delayed that move. Could be Moore is playing the LT position better. We will find out soon.
Mountains out of molehills and tempest in a teapot.
Do other fans over react to injury shuffling like anxious grannies?
They arent committing him to Left Tackle because he hasnt shown himself to be a reliable pass protector on the QB's front side, so they arent just going to put him on the blind side.
Marvel Smith started at RT opposite Wayne Gandy at LT, with the eventual plan to move him to LT. Max Starks played RT for a few years until they felt comfortable playing him at LT. If Broderick Jones showed this preseason that he wasnt going to get steamrolled by DE's in pass protection, they would put him on the blind side. Its an unfortunate spot where he is looking like he wasnt a 1st round value so far.
Whoa. Hold on. The dude who played 8 games in college isn't technically proficient enough to immediately start at LT in the NFL? No one could have seen this coming.
Are we still talking Broderick Jones? His draft profile on NFL .com said he started all 15 games his final season at Georgia at LT. But he only played 4 the year before. Not a ton, but more than 8.
His profile talked a lot about playing high and also lurching. He still needs to be better and I think for a guy that needed more development that he should still play RT to improve his technique before trying to move him to LT. In the end, Fautanu might still be a better LT than Jones.
Mims is the guy who started 8 games at Georgia. The Bengals drafted him in R1 this year.
Clearly Tomlin needs fired over this calf issue with Wilson.
