A whole lot more important than having 2 one hundred yard rushers, we had a work horse, but then we also had a closer with fresh legs able to come in and put the game out of reach, killing the clock on the ground. THAT is the type of run game I've been hoping we returned to. I loved the fact that we weren't dependent on the run, but that we used it as a great weapon, and then handed the game off to the run attack to close it out.
My hat's off on the WIN ! I figured on a carolina blow out beating the Black/Gold by a 56-3 margin ! I'm glad to say I was really wrong, therefore I predict a blow out by the opponent the rest of the season ! LOL Good win Steeler's !!

Another long record matched/broken was Bell's 81 yard run from scrimmage! That has not happened in 44 YEARS! Last time it was done was by Frenchy Fuqua.
