I didn't see the Goodell thread. If someone wants to move this there feel free.

I guess it took 2 weeks to rehearse that piece of crap. How about some unrehearsed sincerity.

Roger Goodell is a bigger a-hole than Kieth Olbermann. Goodell, you have officially hit rock bottom

Goodell is trying his best to avoid being arrogant and smug. He almost succeeded. Olberman is much better with investigative sports journalism than politics.
All Defense!

I think Roger is done. If the ESPN report that was released yesterday is true ( as I believe it will prove to be) then Roger is either a liar or an idiot who was easily manipulated by his buddy Bisciotti. Within a month he'll be forced to resign.
"A man's got to know his limitations."
Regardless of what happens, or wether or not Goodell is a liar or incompetent, the stench is already all over him, and it will never go away. Yesterday's press conference just made it worse. It basically boiled down to "I am an incompetent commissioner who can't be trusted, but please let me keep my job anyway."
It is in Goodell's best interest in the long run to just resign.
I think it's only a matter of time now for Goodell.

Well, Goodell gets well over A MILLION DOLLARS every paycheck. You gotta figure he wants to collect as much money as he can before he has to resign. I can't believe he made over $40 mil last year.
The NBA, NHL, and MLB all had to face their own screw ups when they thought they were untouchable despite something being very clearly wrong with them.
Now it's the NFL's turn to fall down. Goodell turned the most popular sport in the country last decade into a joke. He killed the golden goose.
How coincidental is it that the NFL falters at the same time the Pirates finally start doing good? Pittsburgh will be a baseball town again before long if this keeps up.
