Only if Dennard, Fuller, Evans, Ealy, and maybe Gilbert and Nix are all gone, and nobody will trade picks with us.

I say no way! There will be good tight ends next draft, plus I know DWins is saying(and I agree) take CJ feidorowitz(sp) in the third.

Sounds like you're pretty high on him...

A tight end who can't block, who drops passes as often as Jeremy Stevens, and who only scored 3 TDs last year when tight end is not a need, pass. If they pick him with one of the top 3 CBs available, it will be a STUPID move

I like him . Would love to see to address the TE position . I think he's a freak

I would if I was in charge. But team probably won't. Shown very little interest in the position. Only brought one TE (Branchflower) in for a visit.

    Nope.

also, steelerette, I think you can take Evans off of your "if they are gone" list....dudes stock has skyrocketed, he won't make it past the 7th pick

Absolutely yes. He would immediately make the offense more difficult to defend. I think Ebron may be gone by 15, but I also think the Steelers and Eagles trade picks, making the selection of Fuller at 22 much more palatable than at 15.

Could be wrong, I've made an art out of it. I would love to trade down, and get Fuller at 22, but I don't think that will happen. Have a feeling that if we trade down more that 2 spots Fuller will be gone.

I am glad to hear this and am in agreement.

While Heath Miller is a good #1 tight end having a 2nd top tier TE could help take this offensive to another level imo.

Makes your offense so much more multiple. 12 personnel allows you to do so much. Options are an offensive coordinator's best friend. Makes it harder for defenses to prep for you. And Heath will be fighting father time the rest of his career. Will never be ascending, just struggling to plateau.

We would need to average 30 points a game to be competitive if we do not do something about the defense early.

I say no to Ebron in the first round. Our defense is screaming for help.

Other than 1 more high quality target for Ben I am fine with us going ALLD.
