Eric Green came from Tiny Liberty
Eric Green came from Tiny Liberty
I just had flashbacks to this guy --
Who seemed to always come up small for such a large man -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wor7COXXPKs
I seem to remember that Brister loved to overthrow an open Eric Green late in crucial games.
I guess I was too young at the time, but apparently Green had a MASSIVE cocaine problem. This explains so much.
Anyways, thread hijack over.
Your Eric Green looks like an interesting prospect!
Kid looks good Dwins. What round if he's drafted?

Yes he was in trouble 3 years ago an isolated incident with nothing since ....
as much of a red flag as that is , I think I would be quicker to take a chance on him late in the draft than say Phillip Gaines who has a plethora of bad influences around him ( poor choice in friends ) and several failed drug tests .....
some kids are worth taking a risk on and a guy with 1 thing 3 years ago fits that MO for me ... I am quicker to forgive 1 mistake and a history of good behavior afterwords than bad behavior and no signs of it changing
Very True. As I remember, Brister's "go-to-move" was overthrowing wide open receivers on late game 3rd down plays. That and for much of his career the passing game was chuck it to LIpps and hope or another crow-pleaser -- the deep post to a wide open Dwight Stone ('cause dude just ran past the entire defense) who would promptly drop the ball.
Of course in order to earn the right to do that, Brister beat out immortals such as Blackledge, Malone, and Bono.
Looks like Aikens can catch, a measurable skill irrespective of the level of competition, and something Ike can't do.
Nice find.
He looks very quick and athletic.
I hope the FO takes a good look at him.

Good size with long arms, and very aggressive. I read that he was not very quick, with marginal ball skills, but I can't see it here. Could depend on which EXPERT you are reading. Pleaded guilty of a theft charge, and spent 2 weeks in the county jail, that was 3 years ago. Can't find were he has been in any trouble since then.
Looks to be way under the radar, I had trouble finding this much.

Not saying that he isnt worth a look. Just pointing out the fact that a lot of teams will take a player off their board that has been kicked completely out of a college program for felony possession of stolen property.
I tend to be a little more forgiving. He should be treated the same way that Philip Gaines is being treated...who incidently was brought into Pittsburgh for a visit.
