Thanks Dwins, and good job Chidi!
Thanks for sharing, Paul. Sorry I haven't been around. School, Depot stuff, blah blah blah.
Wish the interview would have been a little more detailed. Thing that sucks about doing these over email. Can't follow up and people are more likely to give shorter answers. But it was nice of John to do the interview. Any more info, the better, especially for a small school kid.
no problem Alex he is a kid we have talked about here a bit , wanted to get that info into the debate and figured it would also get you to stop by and say hey to everyone![]()
Mission accomplished.
That is one guy that wants to get drafted. If he has the tools there should be few issues otherwise.
All Defense!
I do not know if Brown would be the key WR taken. Look at it this way, Brown is considered a 6th or 7th round pick by most. What if the draft broke in a way where the Steelers selected a CB/OT/S/TE in the first round. Then, in the 2nd they take a DE/OLB. When the 3rd round pick rolls around, say they grab the big WR (Moncrief, Bryant, etc).
If Brown was there in the 6th, would you not take a flier on a 5'10" WR that runs in the 4.3 range and has pretty good hands? Why not? When Lance Moore is done as your slot receiver, Brown could be a slot demon for you? Then, when you went 4 wide, you would actually trot out 4 weapons.
And it costs you a 6th.......
This draft is nasty deep at WR. It is why I think the Steelers should nab 2. It is the type of draft where you can mine a little gold in the later rounds and I would rather load up on a position of talent (like WR) than draft a TE that won't make the roster.
